How to Get the Most Out of Grow My TSP
We see our role at Grow My TSP as both teacher and analyst, and we view you, our member, as the student and decision-maker. Our mission is to empower you with the tools, knowledge, and confidence to make informed decisions about your TSP account.
Here are a few key principles to help you make the most of your membership:
Education vs. Financial Advice
First and foremost, Grow My TSP is an educational service. Our goal is to teach you how to use technical analysis effectively to maximize growth in your TSP account while minimizing risk. Over the past 20 years, we’ve refined these methods and are here to share what we’ve learned.
However, it’s critical to understand that we are not financial advisors. We do not provide personalized financial advice or planning.
Instead, we offer:
Weekly Market Analysis: Our TSP Weekly Newsletter and TSP Weekly Podcast (both available in your Member Portal) provide in-depth analysis to help inform your allocation decisions.
Model Portfolios and Allocation Change Alerts: We share example allocation changes within our model portfolios. These are for learning purposes only and are not recommendations for your personal TSP account. While many members choose to align their allocations with ours, this is entirely your decision. Your experience level, comfort with managing your TSP, and personal risk tolerance should guide your choices.
Your Responsibility: You are responsible for managing your TSP account and its performance. Our resources are designed to support your learning and decision-making, but the ultimate responsibility lies with you.

We provide example allocation changes through our Alerts system.
